U.S. News & World Report recently announced the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering earned a spot on its annual “Best Graduate Schools” list along with BYU's Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering graduate programs.

BYU professors receive shared $2M NSF grant for soft robotics research

BYU Mechanical Engineering faculty Marc Killpack and BYU Computer Science faculty David Wingate have received a $2 million shared grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF Emerging Frontiers and Multidisciplinary Activities (EFMA) grant will be shared with the University of Tulsa faculty Michael Keller, Joshua Shultz and his biological robotics team.

New Degrees: Manufacturing Engineering

The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering added Manufacturing Engineering undergraduate and graduate degree programs during the fall semester of 2019. It will now be the only university regionally that has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Manufacturing Engineering. Formerly known as Manufacturing Engineering Technology, the new program is opening doors for students interested in a variety of areas.
