U.S. News & World Report recently announced the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering earned a spot on its annual “Best Graduate Schools” list along with BYU's Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering graduate programs.

According to U.S. News, the rankings are based on “expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students.” The data comes from statistical surveys from more than 2,012 programs and reputation surveys from more than 20,500 academics and professionals.

Each year, U.S. News releases professional program rankings in six different areas: business, education, engineering, law, medicine and nursing. They also rank specialties within those areas.
