From choosing a major to mapping a path to graduation, Academic Advisement (246 EB) provides a variety of services to undergraduate students.

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday ( We are closed Tuesdays from 10:45 AM- 12 PM for Campus Devotional)
Walk-in Policy: The College Advisement Center offers both in-person and virtual appointments. However, if you need answers to quick questions, we offer walk-in advising from 9 AM-11 AM Monday thru Friday. Many questions can be answered by student advisors who staff the Student Services front desk.

  • An appointment is not necessary to change or add a minor, to request that your spouse walks with you at graduation, or for other similar procedures.
  • You will need to meet with a department advisor to change your major or to complete an Academic Improvement Plan (AIP).

Provide general information about majors within the College of Engineering

Discuss career and academic plans and help students identify their major selection and career options

Complete the Academic Improvement Plan (AIP). For Pre-Mechanical majors only, all other majors will need to meet with their department
advisor.

Chart a path to graduation by developing a plan of sequenced courses

Assist students with registration needs and major-specific requirements
