BYU Engineering hosts the annual Student Innovator of the Year competition. Competitors can receive up to $400 in funding to help with prototyping and research. $50K in prize money is awarded at the finals each year. SIOY has kickstarted successful companies like Owlet, Khione, MyoStorm, and more across its 11-year history.
