This year, a hungry Cosmo runs out of luck when he fails to make it to Harvey's Cafe before it closes. BYU students came together to make an epic Rube Goldberg Machine to feed Cosmo some much needed breakfast. Stay tuned to see this year's submissions and vote for your favorite!

Enter the 3rd Annual BYU Engineering Rube Goldberg Challenge!

A Rube Goldberg machine is a contraption that is deliberately over-engineered to perform a simple task in a complicated fashion, generally including a chain reaction.

Submit a video of your Rube Goldberg machine to be included in an epic virtual Rube Goldberg machine video.

    Here's how to enter:

    1. CREATE an epic 15-second Rube Goldberg machine. The more creative, the better!

    2. RECORD your 15-seconds or less video with your phone — don't forget to film horizontally, NOT vertically.

    3. SEND us your video by no later than January 9th. Only one entry per person!

    4. FOLLOW @BYUEngineering on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to see the best entries in the final video.

    5. VOTE on social media for the CROWD FAVORITE!
