Meet Sam Billin, BYU civil engineering alum and CEO of Linkan Engineering. Sam specializes in the design of water supply, water treatment systems, and wastewater treatment facilities and provides unique insights to conventional as well as novel treatment plant designs. He and his wife, Julie, have six children and seven grandchildren. Balancing being there for his family and working hard in his career is an important principle to Sam. He encourages engineers to continue to try to grow and to focus on service, reflecting on the BYU motto.

Dr. Robert Wallace is the Senior Technical Director for the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center Information Technology Laboratory. He oversees a large team of the US Army Corps of Engineers in finding engineering solutions for the Department of Defense. His most important role, he says, is that of husband and father.

Meet Eric Smith, BYU computer science alum and entrepreneur. Eric is Chief Technology Officer at OliverIQ, where he strives to simplify managing connected home devices and make that technology more accessible. He has been the co-founder and CTO of various other corporations in his entrepreneurial journey. He and his wife serve in a YSA bishopric and love being around young adults. Giving to younger generations has been one of the things Eric enjoys most. Eric loves his family and recognizes their support in his career.

Meet the Nichols, a family of BYU graduates. Mel Nichols graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and a masters in Structural Engineering and has now retired from his career working in Alaska.

Meet Jenny Pate, BYU Mechanical Engineering Class of 2011! Jenny is currently a project manager for ExxonMobil in Natural Gas Marketing. A native of Provo, she is dedicated to giving back to the community and offering students what she has been offered in the past. Jenny serves as a recruiter, advisor, and mentor to BYU students who want to propel themselves into the workforce in addition to being the "tiniest cog in the biggest machine" through her work in natural gas.

Mark is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Sundyne, where his work has taken him all over the globe.
