Fast Pitch is an opportunity for SIOY participants to prepare, practice, and get feedback on the presentation they will give at the Showcase in February. You will record a 4 minute video of you and your team's presentation and submit it online to get feedback from professional mentors on both its content (categories on the SIOY rubric) and quality (presentation skills). Remember, this is not a professionally filmed and edited promo video, but simply a video recording of your 4-minute pitch as though you were standing next to your booth and talking to a judge. Fast Pitch is an opportunity to get feedback and will not affect your score when you are judged at Showcase. Participation in Fast Pitch is REQUIRED for all those who received funding and were not able to attend the Speed Mentoring event in November, though we strongly recommend that everyone submits a video.
