Blackboard 6.0 launch postponed
After evaluating the current deployment plan for Blackboard 6.0, a decision has been made to postpone the November 25 roll-out. To ensure the most stable environment, Blackboard 5.5 will continue to be available through winter semester. This will provide a consistent level of quality and stability for the offering of courses through Blackboard. The primary concern is to ensure that faculty are able to offer a reliable learning environment for their students. This delay will also provide more time for faculty needing to migrate or develop their course material in the 6.0 environment.
