Join UDOT's Rotational Engineer Program
I recently had the pleasure of meeting with a representative from the State of Utah's Department of Transportation (UDOT), and they are offering an incredible opportunity for our graduated civil engineers. UDOT is looking for 10 new graduates to join their Rotational Engineer Program- a full-time, hands-on role beginning July 1 offering rotations in a variety of areas including design, materials, hydraulics, planning, right-of-way, structures, traffic, construction, and more.
This program is well-suited for students who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and are eager to make an impact in areas like transportation, water systems, and structural design.
Why consider UDOT? UDOT is at the forefront of numerous impactful projects across Utah. Some initiatives include: The West Davis Corridor- a 16-mile freeway in Davis County, The Mountain View Corridor- a major transportation project aimed at improving mobility in western Salt Lake, and The Statewide Paved Trail System- an ambitious plan to construct over 60 miles of trails. These projects contribute to Utah’s infrastructure and offer engineers the chance to work on diverse and meaningful assignments.
If you recently graduated and are ready to embark on an engineering career, I highly recommend considering this program. Contact me if you are interested or have any questions!
