Convocation Sessions
Convocation for the College of Engineering will take place Friday, April 24, in various locations in four sessions:
- WSC Ballroom 9:00 a.m.: Civil & Construction Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
- WSC Ballroom 11:30 a.m.: Electrical & Computer Engineering and Technology & Engineering Studies
- WSC Ballroom 2:00 p.m.: Mechanical Engineering
- JSB Auditorium 2:00 p.m.: Chemical & Biological Engineering

Commencement
Commencement Information:

Please be at the WSC or the JSB ONE HOUR before the start of your session.
- Civil & Construction Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, be there at 8 a.m.
- Electrical & Computer Engineering and Technology & Engineering Studies, be there at 10:30 a.m.
- Mechanical Engineering and Chemical & Biological Engineering, be there at 1 p.m.
- Masters graduates, wear your hood with your cap and gown, there is no masters hooding ceremony.
- Doctoral candidates are receiving special instructions via email. Contact Jolyn.Larsen@byu.eduwith questions.
- If someone graduating from another college will be walking with you at your convocation session, we need to know ahead of time. Please submit a request no later than Friday, April 3.
- A professional photographer will be taking your photo, which will be available for you to download for free after the event - this is a gift provided by the College of Engineering.
- Department Receptions immediately following Convocation Ceremonies - details to come

Convocation for the College of Engineering will take place Friday, April 24, in the Joseph Smith Building (JSB) Auditorium or the Wilkinson Student Center (WSC) Ballroom in two sessions. Tickets are not required, but seating is limited . For the WSC sessions, up to 6 guests per graduate are allowed in main seating with overflow one floor above. Please be considerate in the number of guests in your party.
