Convocation Sessions

Convocation for the College of Engineering will take place Friday, April 25, in the Smith Fieldhouse in two sessions:

  • 10:00 a.m.: Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Technology & Engineering Studies
  • 1:00 p.m.: Civil & Construction Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering

Please be at the Smith Fieldhouse ONE HOUR before the start of your session.

  • Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Technology & Engineering Studies, be there at 9 a.m.
  • Civil & Construction Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering, be there at noon.
  • Masters graduates, wear your hood with your cap and gown, there is no masters hooding ceremony.
  • Doctoral candidates are receiving special instructions via email. Contact chantel_stokes@byu.edu with questions.
  • You do not need special permission to have a family member graduate/walk with you from another college. They can just show up with you wearing their cap and gown, and enjoy!
  • A professional photographer will be taking your photo, which will be available for you to download for free after the event - this is a gift provided by the College of Engineering.
  • Department Receptions immediately following Convocation Ceremonies:

Convocation for the College of Engineering will take place Friday, April 25, in the Smith Fieldhouse in two sessions. Tickets are not required, but seating is limited. Please be considerate in the number of guests in your party.
