College Lecture: Eric Smith

Eric Smith is the Chief Technology Officer at OliverIQ, where he oversees product direction and architecture for a platform that simplifies managing connected home devices. Before OliverIQ, Eric co-founded Control4, pioneering whole-home automation and making it accessible for any residence. Control4 is publicly traded on Nasdaq under “CTRL.”

Earlier, Eric co-founded STSN (now iBahn), revolutionizing broadband services for business travelers, and PHAST Corporation, a leader in residential control systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Brigham Young University.

Eric is a father of seven and serves as a bishop in an Orem YSA ward.
