BYU Construction Management program ranked #1 best value in the nation

BYU CM program #1 best value for reputation, ROI, annual cost

The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering's Construction Management program ranked first in Value College's "Top 50 Best Value Bachelor's in Construction Management 2019" ranking.

According to Value College, the ranking is based on a few factors:

  • Annual Cost (from IPEDS data)
  • Return on Investment (from PayScale salary rates)
  • Reputation (from U.S. News & World Report data)

In the article, Value College gave BYU the top "Best Value" spot by recognizing the following:

Brigham Young University ... is recognized for its academic excellence, consistently ranking as one of the top one hundred universities in the nation. BYU has one of the most affordable four-year Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degrees available. The program, offered through the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology, combines theory-based instruction with practical, hands-on experience to give students a broad knowledge of the construction field that includes studies in business, architecture, technology, and engineering.

To further emphasize the hands-on program experience, students are encouraged to participate in Construction Management competitions which provide real-world opportunities for students to learn group collaboration and negotiation skills in a team setting. The [BYU] Construction Management teams have placed in over one hundred regional and national competitions and boast more than forty first-place awards.
