ADVERTISE IN THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

The College of Engineering posts digital signage display ads throughout its buildings. You can view the current advertisements here or submit your own down below.

Digital Ad Submission Requirements


Your ad will be REJECTED if it does not meet the following requirements
Ads are displayed on TVs like these and rotate every 6 seconds.

1. Ad Size and Orientation

1080 by 1920 pixels, oriented horizontally (landscape). A 16:9 aspect ratio.

  • Tip- If using PowerPoint to create your ad, change the dimensions under page setup to 26.67 in. x 15 in. before designing.

2. 25 Word Limit

25 words or less. Ads run for 6 seconds. Can someone read your entire ad that fast? Think freeway billboard.

  • Tip - have your main message be only a few words and make them the most obvious thing on the ad. (size, color, etc). If a viewer is interested in the headline, they will make the effort to read the smaller details, go to the website, or scan the QR code.

3. .jpg or .png format

  • Tip- If using PowerPoint to create your ad, export the slide as a .jpg or .png

4. Submitted 2 business days before the ad start date

5. Relevant to the majority of our students

  • Note- If the advertisement is not affiliated with BYU or BYU Engineering, it will be rejected

Additional Advertising Opportunities

  • Paper Fliers: You may post paper fliers (8.5x11" or 24x36" unmounted, by availability) on open bulletin boards and the Clyde Building poster wall.
  • Specific Engineering Departments: If your advertisement is specific to a major or department, contact them here.
  • Monthly Student Newsletter: In order for your information to be included in next month's newsletter, send it to the Communications Manager by the last week of this month.
