As a follow-up to the Save-the-Date email you received earlier this month, I want to formally invite you to the first BYU Engineering Mentor Alliance event of the school year on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

As I mentioned in my previous email, the day will include joining engineering students for a mentoring luncheon, giving feedback to Student Innovator of the Year competitors (Speed Mentoring) so they can hone their projects for the SIOY competition, networking with other members of the Alliance, and enjoying the great energy of being on BYU campus.

Here's the schedule:

12 p.m. - Welcome, Lunch and Mentoring with BE (BYU Engineering) Together students

1 - 1:30 p.m. - Instructions for Speed Mentoring, and a break

1:30 - 3:30 p.m. - SIOY Speed Mentoring - Share your knowledge and expertise with students as they prepare their innovations for the SIOY competition

Please let us know if you'll be able to make it on November 20 and, if you don't mind, please update your address so we can send you a Christmas card.
