We are now less than three weeks away from the big Showcase for Student Innovator of the Year (SIOY), one of the best opportunities for members of the Mentor Alliance to get involved with our current BYU students.

We would love to have your help as a judge for this competition the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 10. Below is a breakdown of the afternoon's schedule. As you can see, there's a little bit of flexibility in the schedule, to make it easier for you to attend.

Tuesday, Feb. 10:

• 12 p.m. - Welcome, networking and lunch
• 12:30 p.m. - Judging app instructions
• 1 p.m. - Formal judging time begins (judges are welcome to leave whenever they're done judging)
• 4:30 p.m. - Last call for submitting scores 
• 5 p.m. - Finalists are announced (this information will also be sent later via email)

As a Showcase judge, you will evaluate the engineering, innovation and impact of students' projects to help determine the top teams who will compete in SIOY Finals for a share of $50,000 in prize money.

We currently need just a few more mentors to make this work best for our students. I hope you can make it - we would love to have you!
