If you're walking in the BYU Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering's convocation ceremonies this April, here's some information that might help as you discuss potential travel plans with your loved ones over this holiday break.
|
|
|
Convocation Sessions: We will hold four different convocation sessions for our grads this year, all taking place on Friday, April 24, 2026.
- Civil & Construction Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering: 9 a.m., WSC Ballroom
- Electrical & Computer Engineering and Technology & Engineering Studies: 11:30 a.m., WSC Ballroom
- Mechanical Engineering: 2 p.m., WSC Ballroom
- Chemical & Biological Engineering: 2 p.m., JSB Auditorium

Limited Seating: We are happy to welcome your loved ones for this special occasion! For the sessions in the WSC Ballroom, there will be room for only 6 guests per graduate in the main seating area. If there are more than 6 in your party, the additional guests will be able to watch the ceremony in the designated overflow area (one floor above the ballroom). As you make your plans, please be considerate of your fellow graduates and their families. A livestream of the ceremony will be available for your loved ones who can't attend in person.
"Walking With": If someone graduating from another college will be walking with you at your convocation session, we need to know ahead of time. Please submit a request here no later than Friday, April 3.
